I started with Storm Team Construction in the supplement/depreciation department in 2009. While I was new to the industry, I was previously working in an upper management role for 6 years. At the time, Storm Team Construction was still in it’s infancy, but it was growing rapidly. It offered me my first taste of working with insurance companies and negotiating the scope of work with adjusters. I really enjoyed the position from the start and was able to quickly build lasting relationships with the various insurance companies. I was communicating with our customers on a regular basis about their accounts and helping them understand the insurance process. During that period I became more familiar with the HR and Production side of things. I started taking classes and attending seminars to expand upon my knowledge within the construction industry. I was promoted to Production Manager in 2011. In my new role, I was in charge of ordering all materials, scheduling and coordinating various crews, and overseeing the entire production staff. The position was very demanding and utilized my strong customer service skills. I was coordinating with homeowners and project managers directly, to make sure that every customer was satisfied with their project, from start to finish. Due to the success and continued growth of the company, I was only in the position for a year before I was promoted to General Manager. As General Manger, I was responsible for overseeing all of the corporate operations for Storm Team Construction. My main responsibility was to ensure that we were operating with a high level of efficiency while maintaining great service to our customers throughout the process. Three years ago I was promoted to Vice President. Storm Team Construction has rewarded my hard work and dedication more than I could ever have hoped for. It’s great to work for such a rewarding company that puts an emphasis on keeping their customers and employees happy. Retaining quality employees has paid off in the overall team dedication to customer satisfaction. Winning the Guild Quality and UASRC awards for customer service are what I am most proud of in my career thus far.

Life outside of work is very active and predominantly spent outdoors. Even though I am past my prime I still enjoy playing many competitive sports. On the weekend you can usually find me camping with my girlfriend and her son, or on the water trying to catch Nemo. I am very proud of my son who is a Junior at Ohio University and an integral part of our company. I love dogs and have two labs that are always happy to see me.
